SANDRA INMAN has served many years as River of Life Singles Leader.  Being a Single herself, she is uniquely prepared with insight and compassion since she has lived the issues of which Singles need encouragement.  She declares that the message of “building good relationships” is important not only to Singles but also to everyone – because relationships were created by God, for us to glorify Him!  Her ministry goals encourage the development of Singles Ministries on a local and regional level.

Meetings

Regular monthly meetings are held the 3rd Friday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Youth Room. We share ministry time, fellowship, fun, prayer and food.
 Guest speakers are frequent with topics ranging from boundaries to finances, relationship issues, divorce, single-parenting issues and finding God’s purpose for our lives. Other get-togethers are offered from time to time for casual fellowship.

Opportunity

MINISTRY AND OUTREACH

There is opportunity for our Single Adults to become involved. Some serve in
  • prison ministry
  • disaster relief
  • Sidewalk Sunday School
  • church board
  • nursery
  • praise & worship
  • greeters
  • food
  • homeless
and a variety of other Christian outreach programs.

Our group is a SPIRITUAL and emotional support group as we together grow, encourage one another, heal and fellowship.

Our prayerful goal is that our Single Adults grow to spiritual and relational wholeness, discover and follow God’s plan for their lives. The greatest single adult who ever lived is -- JESUS!

Welcome To River Of Life

River of Life Assembly of God is a unique church. With a blend of various ethnicities in our congregation we have a true “world vision”. River of Life is a church that is mission minded, striving towards the fulfilling of the commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to carry the gospel to the world. But what makes up “the world” ?

People just like you make up “the world” therefore people are our business. At River of Life Assembly of God our desire is to promote spiritual growth and the development of common friendships. In other words people at River of Life are family.

Children are important to us at River of Life. They are gifts from God. That is why we have invested in a state of the art children’s church that is staffed by people who care about them.

Our youth are not the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. At River of Life our youth meet every Wednesday at 6:00 pm for a time of vibrant youth lead worship and Biblical teaching from our Youth Pastor that is pertinent to their lives.

S.A.L.T. Ministry (Single Adults Living Truth) at River of Life Church provides a setting for teaching, service and growth in a Christian environment. Here single adults can grow spiritually strong to lead an effective Christian life in today’s world.

44% of adults in the U.S. are single. Many Single Adults are hurting from the pain of divorce, death, hurts or abuse and desperately need love and care. S.A.L.T. can provide a safe place for healing and restoration. We recognize the incredible needs and opportunity for ministry to single adults. Single adults are some of the effective leaders in today’s churches.
